COVID increase expected with tourism reopening

While she noted yesterday that cases on New Providence seem to be declining, Dr. Merceline Dahl-Regis, consultant in the Office of the Prime Minister, said health officials anticipate an increase as The Bahamas begins reopening.

“As we reopen the country, we anticipate an increase in the number of new cases,” she said at a Ministry of Health press conference.

“But we can still slow the transmission of the virus.”  Read more >>
