Oppositionl Leader Calls on Prime Minister to Act on Scientific Evidence in Response to COVID-19

NASSAU, Bahamas — The Hon. Philip “Brave” Davis, leader of the opposition Progressive Liberal Party (PLP), described  the curfew instituted by Prime Minister the  Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, in response to the COVID-19 epidemic, as  an overreach that will have unintended consequences.

Speaking at a press conference at PLP headquarters on Thursday, March 19, 2020, Mr. Davis called on the government to commence widespread testing as a way of determining the number of persons infected by COVID-19 so that the government can act on empirical data and scientific evidence.  Read more >>
