The National Art Gallery of the Bahamas - We're back!

We’re Open Again! and Your NAGB is ready and waiting! Regular opening hours are in effect as of Tuesday, December 29th, at 10 a.m. Please join us to celebrate our culture at your national art museum. The NAGB is FREE every day, from Tuesday through Sunday, for all Bahamians and Bahamian residents.

After many months, the national art museum—your NAGB—is back open and ready to greet you! Aside from the newly re-imagined Art Park, an outdoor art space that is both child and COVID-friendly, the galleries are also re-opening.
Having opened briefly in July, we are 100% COVID compliant, with temperature-taking facilities, regular hand sanitizing stations throughout the building and spacing marks that will inform you, our visitors and family, on safe social distancing.

Our regular openings hours, Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sundays 12 noon - 5 p.m., will be reinstated with immediate effect, remaining closed only on upcoming national holidays on Friday, January 1st (New Year's Day) and Monday, January 11th, Majority Rule Day (observed).
Our Mixed Media Museum Store, beautifully remodelled during the closures, is open with stunning Bahamian made objects for treating yourself after this long winter indoors. Come in and check it out!
Finally, our outdoor cinema in the Fiona’s Theatre will also be starting up new Winter and Spring programming; stay tuned for more IN PERSON (but socially-distanced) programming from your NAGB!
