Yesterday, the 9th of September 2015, at or around 17:30 local time in Great Britain and at or around 12:30 pm in The Bahamas, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II surpassed the reign of her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, and become the longest-reigning British monarch.

To commemorate this historic milestone in the life of the Commonwealth, the Bahamas Postal Service will issue Britain’s Longest Reigning Monarch commemorative postage stamps.
