Thursday, Dec 12, 2013 - In this week's issue of Bahamian Art & Culture, we feature John Cox's move to Baha Mar as well as an update on his showing at Art Basel, Nettie Symonette's Art Retreat, Scott Aranha's dangerous photography and Artist Profiles on Chantal Bethel & Sheldon Saint.

We also highlight a number of events including Roland Rose's Exhibition at Central Bank and the D'Aguilar Art Foundation's "History of Junkanoo" now showing. Tonight is the opening of Tyler Johnston's Photo Exhibit at Van Breugel's and The Salus Project's Exhibit at The Ladder Gallery. Tomorrow is the opening of Popop's Jr Residency Exhibit "Intersect" and Dance Bahamas' Christmas Dance Recital.

On Saturday is the opening of "20/20" featuring the work of Bethel and Saint at Hillside House Gallery as well as Jessica Colebrooke's Book Signing at McDonald's downtown. On Sunday is Patricia Glinton Meicholas' book signing at Doongalik and Ebenezer Methodist's Christmas Concert. And rounding it all off is the Bahamas National Youth Choir's Christmas Concert at Trinity Methodist.
