Jazz In Bloom at Hillside House July 31st, 2013

You are cordially invited to share in the success of a local artist.

Young Bahamian Jazz vocalist, Anuschka Wright is in pursuit of greatness. She has already seen a bit of her dream made reality just this year. On Father’s Day, June 16th 2013, she introduced her vision to the Bahamian public with her first self-produced full Jazz Concert, Jazz In Bloom. The event, hosted in the Governor’s Ballroom of the British Colonial Hilton Hotel, was welcomed by a room filled with an eager and engaged audience of over two hundred supporters. But “Jazz In Bloom” is more than concert…

Anuschka’s vision for Jazz In Bloom goes further than even she can imagine and so she invites you to see how you can share in this vision.

Mr. Antonius Roberts will be hosting Anuschka at his gallery, Hillside House, on Cumberland St., Wednesday July 31st, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Planned for the evening, is a short presentation of the concept of Jazz In Bloom. Also, all in attendance will be treated to a private performance by Anuschka Wright herself. She will be accompanied by members of Jazz Etcetera, bassist and band leader, Adrian D’Aguilar on upright bass and Tino Richardson on saxophone.

The fee for the evening is $25. This donation includes entry, food and drinks. H’orderves will be prepared by Hillside House’s resident catering service, The Distinguished Palate, who will have tasty options available to satisfy meat and veggie lovers alike. Our featured wine will be Montes, a Chilean wine distributed by Burns House Group. And for mixed drinks, you’ll get to sample special mixes of the rum from the newly opened Bahamian brewery, John Watlings.
