NASSAU, BAHAMAS... Fresh from a well received TBN Florida live studio taping with opera singer Joann Callender, multi-award winning producer and hip hop artist Manifest aka Lavard Parks will be headlining his first concert for the year.

“I’m excited is all I can say,” beamed Manifest during a break from concert rehearsal. “I’m excited that the fans have been meeting me on the street and insisting I continue live performances. I’m excited that Jamie Thomas will be in town to help bring his awesome energy which is a brand in itself. I’m excited the music from HISLife, HISMic is still a hit with audiences. But I think most of all, I am excited to spend the first part of the year in The Bahamas which is something I haven’t done in a long time because of annual touring obligations - I’m sure my familyagree that’s something to be excited about.”

Manifest’s concert which is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday 13, April will be held at Potential Church on JFK near the Red Cross.

“I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with some artists who I respect personally and professionally,” added Manifest. “We’ve got Sammi Star, Joann Callender, Mr. Beeds, WD-4D, CJ Priest, V-Mac and a few other surprises as well. I’m also pleased to have Milliyon from Cajo Records in Atlanta to drop a few of his hits as well.”

Manifest, who has been using his off time to mentor young men through school and church events, says he is optimistic as to where his musical career is headed but is humbled that he is still well received.

“I have been travelling extensively lately,” he said. “Of course as a producer and songwriter I am always going to be inspired and with that you just never know when opportunity will knock. I’m just taking the blessings in stride and thankful for each moment.”
