It’s that time again; UNEXSO and Burns House Group of Companies is hosting their FOURTH event to benefit BASRA, Bahamas Air and Sea Rescue. Friday, September 21st, at 7pm, “Totally 80’s” will be an evening inspired by a generation almost all of us were part of, the awesome 1980’s. This event is sure to be one of the most exciting and entertaining events yet. In addition to this celebration the event’s purpose is to bring together businesses, locals and tourists in an effort to benefit one of an organization that exist by the help of volunteers.
As usual, Burns House will be providing free tasting of Smirnoff Twists Flavored Vodkas and Smirnoff Ice Flavored Drinks. In addition to drink specials for these flavored drinks, there will also be $3.00 fruit punch cocktail and JELLO shots.
The main feature for the evening will be three very special performances by Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and Michael Jackson. Come and see all the favorite music celebrities from the 80’s. In addition, there will be a DJ, raffle prizes, Karaoke contest and a purple rain buffet, including corn dogs, rice crispy treats and many other favorites.
Several other businesses have shown their support by participating through the raffle. Kelly’s True Value will be offering a gift from their beautiful store, Colombian Emeralds will be putting forward a unique piece jewelry, a three day tow night stay at Pelican Bay, and The Ferry House will be presenting a $100 gift certificate for dinner. In addition, Lucayan Nursery has offered to donate all of the stunning plant life.
Come on out Friday evening, September 21st to enjoy Smirnoff Twist Flavored Vodkas from Burns House, music and celebrity performances while supporting one of your favorite community organizations- BASRA. Tickets can be purchased at UNEXSO for $10 or at the gate that night for $12. Also, guests are welcome to purchase a $100 table for six, which includes waitress service and the first round of drinks are on UNEXSO.
